Rental Terms & Conditions

By proceeding with this booking, I confirm that I am at least 25 years old and will be the sole operator of the rented scooter or ATV.

I agree to operate the vehicle safely and responsibly, and will not:

  • Drive recklessly

  • Enter races or competitions

  • Violate any local traffic laws

I understand and accept that:

  • The vehicle must be returned in the same condition and with the same fuel level as received.

  • If the fuel level is lower upon return, I will be responsible for paying the difference.

  • I am liable for any damages, traffic violations, or penalties incurred during the rental period.

  • The company reserves the right to retrieve the vehicle at any time if I breach these terms or misuse the vehicle.

  • Full payment is required prior to receiving the keys. This payment is non-refundable, but may be credited toward a future booking at the company’s discretion.

General Terms & Liability

 

I will obey all traffic signs and accept all cost associated with failure to adhere to them. I accept all risks associated with rentals, including injury, property damage, or loss. I release Turquoise Expeditions & Adventures, its owners, staff, and agents from any claims arising from my participation or rental use. I am responsible for any damage or loss caused during my use of company equipment or vehicles. Unsafe conduct or violation of terms may result in immediate termination of service or rental.

 

I agree to follow all written and verbal instructions provided by the company and understand that any unsafe behavior may result in retrieval of rental vehicles without refund. I am responsible for promptly reporting accidents, violations, or injuries and seeking medical care at my own expense when needed.

 

Any legal claims shall be resolved through arbitration within the Commonwealth of The Bahamas. If any part of this waiver is deemed invalid, the remaining terms remain fully enforceable.

Payment & Refund Policy

 

Full payment is due before departure or vehicle key handover. No refunds will be issued for late arrivals or cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled rental.

 

Turquoise Expeditions & Adventures reserves the right to cancel or reschedule services due to unforeseen circumstances such as severe weather, mechanical failure, or safety concerns. In such cases, a rescheduled service or credit may be offered at the discretion of the company.

 

For bookings made in advance, payment is required no more than 7 to 14 days prior, with at least 25% of the total paid 7 days before the activity date. Same-day bookings require full payment at the time of confirmation.
